The museum is housed in the 1878 DW Allison house, a Queen Anne style mansion built by a grandson of two of the original settlers. 11 - 14 United Empire Loyalist Heritage Centre and Park, Adolphustown The Loyalist Settlement Experience - come celebrate 225 years of history. The UEL Museum is hosting the 2009 UELAC National Conference June 11th to 14th. The Conference will celebrate the 225th anniversary of the Loyalists Landing and will feature re-enactments and Fife and Drum and the famous Herkimer Batteauxs doing battle just off shore. Saturday morning will be feature public talks on a variety of Loyalist related subjects ranging from the Dating of 18th century homesteads to the state of education in the 1790s. There will also be bus tours to local historical attractions and local vendors selling a range of things from handcrafted clothing to handcrafted cheese.
